Poor Max, also one RRRRREEEEEAAALLLLLYYYYYY quick and hard rainstorm.

I wonder what Max would be thinking if she was caught in that storm on her way to the store...

Maxine, the Fem who Killed God... or at the very least kicked his butt from one end of Heaven to the other.

I have had days like this in this comic strip only to have, not just rain but a bird taking a grap on my bike's seat. But I did not blame God for it, but the fact the store did not put the bike rack under the awning infront of the store!!

I agree with that, why is the bike rack not under the awning....

I am thinking lazy contractors...

The awning is to shelter people, not bikes. It's so when it pees down with rain, you (the potential customer) can window shop without getting soaked, and have time to think about going in and buying something.
had a fight about this exact thing about my motorbike, with a shopkeeper.

When you have a bike (or motorbike) people automatically will assume you're gonna go where you wanna go, just use it to your advantage and park in safe, dry places, like under awnings.

Not sure about America and other countries but in Britain, shopkeepers are allowed to call the cops to get a bike (or motorbike) removed from under their awning...

In my city some stores have it under the awning, only 5 thoe. Legally you have to put on the rack, even if it's 28ft from the store.

I live were there really are no bikes in town cause every thing is to far away so we have to drive. Yet we could use awnings were there are small stores at.
