This is one of the better strips lately. The look on Sid's face after that burp is great. It's like the demonic force rejected Sid. I just wonder what's gonna happen to Max now...

As I said before, the resemblance to a certain RPG is startling.
Its obvious that she'll grow some tentacles/extra limbs (bonus points for them emerging from disturbing/perverse locations), develop tumors on her skin full of acid, begin speaking in the tongue of the Wyrm, and develop an acute malevolent psychosis which may only be cured by either tearing her head from her shoulders or close range gunfire.
Either that, or she'll have a *really* bad case of diarrhea, and take some pepto.
Could go either way, really. Is it bad that I'm rooting for the first option?
Okay, I'm not really, I like Maxine. Her becoming a minion of the ultimate supernatural evil in the universe would suck.

If it's not a targeted attack, that would mean everyone buying subs from the new shop is being demon-infested...or whatever you'd call it.
Hopefully, it's Sid's bag of subs that got zapped on the way home, not a major crisis brewing.
I wonder if that would work for Max, or if Sid is able to belch out the demon 'cause he's a pirate.

I think Max would become even more awesome being demon-possessed. Perhaps Sid burped out the demon because, being a pirate, he couldn't handle it.

I mean "awesome" as in exactly what it sounds like. It's so great that the word "cool" just simply doesn't cover it. Come on, Maxine is amazing as she is, but having a demonic alter-ego? HELL YES! She would kick even more ass than she already does.
