Hey all, my name's Cal

I've been reading (and loving) BPD for a while now and finally got around to joining the forum since I'm on vacation and have a bit of free time to get to know you guys.

I'm a pilot, currently going to school at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical U. Right now I'm working on my instrument rating. My furrsona is a Dhole/Golden Retriever mutt, based on my personality. (I'm usually fairly "professional" but in very comfortable situations I have a fluffy side that shows through)

hm, what else... oh yeah. I'm also a big fan of Pulp Adventure stories, like The Rocketeer, The Mummy, Indiana Jones, etc. I don't know if I'll ever fight mummies, but once I graduate I'm going to make a point of finding some career that'll get me some adventure, like flying aid missions in the congo, island hopping in the carribbean, or air racing.

besides all that, i like power metal, firefly, and the 80s XD

Hey new guy here. Been lurking for a little bit and decided to join up and chat with y'all. Love the comic, great artwork, characters and story so far. I'm a gamer, a talker and a lover (don't take that seriously ) big into music (play guitar/piano, use Reason) and I'm learning to draw right now. Don't have a really fursona yet, but I've always been kinda interested in it so I thought this would be a cool place to start. Anyways nice to meet everyone and hope to enjoy the comic in the future. *wave* I'm new round these har parts. I happened to find BPD one day while reading Better Days and then proceeded to completely forget about it for several months while I prepared to graduate from college. So then I graduated and now I have not much at all to do, so I surf the net all day. u.u;

Ah...despite what my name implies, I am not in fact from Kiev. (I'm from Ohio...u.u) I'm only like a tiny bit Slav...but I was a Russian Area Studies Major! :O

Fursona: Given my chosen online identity's name, you might assume it to be some sort of rodent... and most days, you'd be right. But I'm a role-player, and over the years have played literally hundreds of characters... and in the past year or so, I've been noticing that I've been having an increasing affinity towards something along the lines of a glasses-wearing, cinnamon-furred grizzly bear.

Hey just signed up for this and very interested love the comic its sweetness on a screen very cool. <<...>>... why am i still in a box... oh yeah intro hi i'm Ludo biter a biter (a rabbit and tiger mix) 5'10" tall i wear a black and white cameo pants and black leather combat boots with a black tanktop i'm not very muscular just your average biter size with my ears perked up i'm 6'5" tall but one is normaly laying on my face and the other covering the side of my face. i'm a writer aswell and am currently writing two books... well i started 2004 on one then started another and then forgot where they were and all most lost them from the comp and then i found the paper copies and now i'm rewriting them both...... *takes a deep breathe* okay um... what else.... oh yeah i like to do many of things and try different and new things so hit me up.. *meanwhile in the back of his brain a hamster runs around in circles then stop and starts doing back and front flips since it has no wheel or hampster ball.*

Just one small question, why is it called a "biter" instead of a "Riger" or a "Tabbit?"

It's a fursona. Simply using one's imagination. Creating a fursona doesn't have to be restrained by biological law. Wolves and birds can't mate, but all the time people make winged wolves. Felines and canines can't mate either (well...they could have sex, but it wouldn't produce a child) but people have created snow leopards crossed with wolves all the time. Shoot I've seen rabbits mixed with lions.

When it comes to fursonas, I don't think it really matters if a certain animal can mate with another of a different species, it's just what the individual wants.

...um... i like being a biter and i haven't seen any other like me so i like me for being different and because i am like a tiger and a rabbit so i'm original in a way
