Its a class that is based around the study and understanding and how to calculate statistics and the like.

I dropped it. I found out that my teacher isn't even an actual teacher. He's just retired and used to do statistical analysis for a coconut company. He's just doing this for a paycheck. It's his first time teaching. He screwed me over with some projects, so instead of failing, I dropped and want to take it again next semester with a better teacher.

Kinda reminds me of when I attempted to complete my highers at a local college, the chemistry lecturer was her first time too and WE (the students) knew more than her.....

My statistics instructor wrote the statistics book...literally. Fortunately, he was a really nice guy who recognized that no one in the class were math majors.
Statistics basically teaches the math and logic behind those studies you read about or hear about. Its actually quite a bit more complex than 1 would think.
