    Broken Plot Device Store?

Post by padfootsm on Sun Dec 07, 2008 7:29 am

I consider this related to the comic...so I believe it fits in Comic Talk.

Will there ever be a store for the comic...? T-shirts, etc?

I know at MFF you had bookmarks...but are there any plans to expand upon that? Just curious. ^^

I actually have a temporary shop set up at CafePress with a small selection of things. I say "temporary" as my end-goal is to be able to have a stock if items pre-printed and not go with a print on demand service. Still, it's there for anyone who might be interested in a Rex shirt or a goofy clock (which, by the way, I have seen in person, and looks really nice)

    Ooh.

    That sounds cool.

Make sure you make some t-shirts in black. Wink

That clock looks pretty cool, too. *purrows!*

Y'know...you draw so nice, it'd be great to get BIG prints, poster size and up images that we can hang Smile or even a wallscroll! or inflatable inix! (no dirty thoughts there at all, am thinking how funny it'd be to stash inix in the closet to hide there, ready to pounce the unassuming passerbye)

It hasn't been brought up in the comic yet, so it's ok if you don't know what the Lone Star Mining Co is.

The first picture I ever drew of Sunny (back before she had a NAME even), she had that shirt on. I guess because she's a mole, I figured she'd work as a miner? That was a while ago, and her design has changed somewhat, but I plan on mentioning Lone Star in the comic in the future. Until then, here's that first picture: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/194145/

Haha, that's a really hot picture.

And I don't usually care for many species besides felines/canines. Well done! Smile

    I bet she'd give a great backscratch. Rowr. ^-^

I would absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to see Maxine's "Censored" shirt in the shop one day. I'd buy that.

That shirt makes me wish I was a girl just so I'd have some reason to own it, lol.

CENSORED shirts on guys don't really make much sense.

If Cafepress had tubetops, I'd have them for sale already. Wink

Yet another reason to find another avenue for selling merch besides CafePress

Yeh, but you can't really show off your trendy boxers without getting some weird looks as a guy.

I wish I had money for the clock...

I like the "intimate apparel". It's not very intimate. Very Happy
