Besides the fact that I've never played Mass Effect, how would that even work? It's like the silenced shotgun in Modern Warfare 2! *rant*

    There's a FULLY-automatic sniper rifle now, it's called the Dragunov SVU-A

Stangly, I've gone back to the basic sniper rifle in Mass Effect 2,
A single shot winchestor style rifle called the Mantis.

I can't even imagine how hard it would be to use the scope with the recoil on that thing...

Thanks. That all helps. I need to start using my joystick, too, that would probably help. bounce

If your joystick has a twist function, that can get annoying if your are trying to target without torso twisting.

Yea, it has one, but I think I'll deal because it normally doesn't affect anything.

Night Dragon forgot a very important tip: WATCH YOUR HEAT!!! If it gets too high, your mech will pass out in the middle of combat, and in a tense firefight, you might as well shoot yourself at that point. Or if the heat maxes out... BOOM!!! Your mech becomes a roman candle (so watch the flamer armed mechs if they get close, nothin' ruins your day like watchin' your heatsinks melt and fusion core pop, and they are very good at doin' that to you).

I forgot another tip, don't stand next to a defeated mech, the core goes into a meltdown, and can heavily damage the mech if it is standing too close.

    My Tips
    - Lasers are your friends, no ammo required just watch your heat level.
    - LBX Autocannons are great for close range combat, just aim for the middle of the leg or arm.
    - Armour, Armour, ARMOUR - nuff said
    - PPC, Guass Rifles and Large Lasers are great at long range sniping. Also a good way of cutting down the odds.
    - DON'T forget your lancemates, build them 'mechs to complement your own.
    - Watch your heat, fight from water whenever possible, that said don't stay still if your under fire.
    - Death from Above, tricky and potentionally fatal, but damn effectice
    - Use jump jets, either jump up from behind cover, open fire and land behind cover, or jump out behind a target, fire and jump away again.

It's...like dividing by zero...but the end result is awesome.

I've gotten into Silent Hill lately. Played and beat the original and Shattered Memories, seen and own the movie, tried to play the second game (but the 360 backwards compatibility is crap), and I'm just starting Homecoming.

Well now that you said that it won't. >:U

Speaking of Halo Reach recently went Gold so be prepared for the onslaught of douche bags that get it a month early and rip the entire game on to Youtube.
