Sad Things.

Since we have a thread for the things that make us happy, it makes sense to have one that shows the things that make us sad too.

What makes me sad is all the reboots and horrific manglings of well-established popular franchises, like Marvel's films, DC's Films, Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek, Star Wars and the like. It seems the science fiction genre is particularly prone to sudden and unexplicable rewrites, changes and sometimes blatant mangling of the established canon.

I saw a bird die today, don't ask how.

It's -20°C outside right now, with -35°C windchill warnings. This makes me very sad, because I have to leave my house today.

I ran out of tea today, roads are buried in snow. Dug my way to the store it was closed. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

My laptop is out of action, had to switch to a G-notebook wifi, but my system is not accepting it well.(Blue-screened once.)Also, I won't be on Icechat for awhile.(I have a sister to watch daily, so I can't come running down stairs and getting on my main computer during the day.)

My legs cramping up when I was running to the doctor's to pick up Blackwolf's prescription, I got there five minutes late because of it and the place had closed.

My glasses broke ;o.o;

My laptop's infected AGAIN and my anti-viruses won't start.

My psp battery exploded while chargen.

I was chargen the PSP's battery on my outlet station charger, then it exploded. I also lost my charger and my battery. So I Buyied a new charger and battery. I wish I did not catch it on film it happened so quickly. Smoke and a electircal smell eh. Not a big boom but a little crackle.

Mecingo, there was a warning out about some PSP batteries developing a fault after 6-12 months... In Britain there was at least.

I see the charger is a 3rd party charger, hope that was not the problem.

The snow melted a little bit last night, and over night the water from the snow turned to ice. I sliped fell on my face walking out the door today. Ow.

Cried for no reason.

Lost my digital camera, hoping to get it back, and it has photos that date back to 2007.

It has been found. yay.

It feels like I'm involuntarily is slipping down to complete lurker mode everywhere again. Dammit. =(
