Opinions on if it improved anything or it made things harder to do.

It's too stretched out and the roll over menus aren't very helpful at all. They're trying to make it "Look pretty" but sacrifice functionality to it. A website should be functional first then visually pleasing. But this is Deviant Art after all, what do they know about good design work.

I like the new set-up. And the search bar still exists, it's tucked away at the top of the start page where all the new/popular images are.

Yea. I guess there's not much of a difference between them. I actually think it's more smoother than the old one.

The roll-over menus are killing my poor already dying computer.

Websites shouldn't make my computer lag. :c

Hmmm...how old and what kind is your computer? I have dial-up and the drop downs work perfectly.

It's neither that my computer is incredibly old nor my internet connection. The logic board got fried when lightning hit my apartment complex and causing an electrical surge. (At which point in time I discovered the surge protector that my computer is powered by protects against surges at a higher output than my computer can tolerate...)

So yeah. Really, my computer is dying. But if you really want to know, it's a Macbook laptop from about 3.5-4 years ago.

I'm getting used to it, but I dislike the messages are simple grouped together, I prefered the old one where you had posts split into devations and messages.

The one thing I hate is that they do not have a search engine for find a certian artist.

They've never had a search engine that looks for the artist, the only way to look for one is if, like me, the artist puts their name in the keywords section at the bottom of the submission page.

I was hoping they would finally make one but they didn't.

Deviant Art do something useful to promote art and artist? Ha! You should do stand up.

Is anyone else havin' problems gettin' the Deviantart site to display properly? It's only happened recently (and I've tried the refresh several times), all I get is the white background with blue text, and can't get to access mah messages or deviations.
