Official Casting Thread
As many of you already know, we're putting together a group of people that would like to voice an audio version of Broken Plot Device. This thread will act as the final place to determine who acts as who, where to sign up, and where to vote on who acts as what.
Rules:
If you sign up, you must also place at least two votes. You may not vote for yourself. Other than that, have at it!
How to sign up:
To sign up, simply post a link to a recording of yourself playing the part you wish. You can download a recording program here and upload your recording to link to here.
Please include in your post which character(s) you are trying out for, and which comic you are reading from. A link to the comic in question would be nice, but not necessary. You may try out for any number of characters, any number of times. However, each different try and character must be a separate recording.
Your recording and post will be reflected on this post, so that other members can see and vote on the cast in one place if they wish.
PM me if I miss a recording to stick up here. The recordings from the previous voice thread will be put here.
How to vote:
You do not have to sign up in order to vote. You have to be registered to the forum to vote. You may only vote once for each character (i.e. one vote for Liz, one vote for Max, one vote for Sid, etc).
In order to vote, please BOLD and MAKE BLUE the name of the poster you are voting for, and then say which part. This is to make sure I do not miss any votes when tallying them up.
Example: Lord Grey II for the part of Sid. (This is a character I'm not trying out for, so it's not a conflict of interest)
In order to bold something, use the [.b][./b] tags around what you are bolding, without the periods. In order to make something blue, put [.color=blue][./color] around what you are making blue, without the periods.
Your votes will be tallied and shown on this post, below, as we go along.
Edit: I've been asked this question a lot; yes, you may change your vote. IF YOU DO WANT TO CHANGE YOUR VOTE, DO NOT EDIT YOUR VOTES
Instead, make a new post. State who you are changing your vote from and then put who you are changing your vote to in green and bold. This will ensure I have the correct tally at the end, and other people can check my work.
Example: I no longer want Lord Grey II to play Inix, I want to change my vote to Lizardbeth.

Also seeking: An animator!
If you are interested in animating the comics we voice, please feel free to post here. I ask that you post a link to something you've animated in the past as an example of your work. If you have not animated before, but are willing to give it a shot, feel free to create something and then post it as an example.
Personally, I was thinking the animated and voiced comics would end up looking something like this, but that doesn't necessarily have to be the case. The final cast and animator can work that all out as necessary.
If you think that is something you can do, please don't hesitate to try out!

The last day to vote and/or make a submission is Friday, August 13th!
The day after, I will announce the winners (as if you couldn't just look) and get in contact with all voice actors for the first comic series.
