Meanwhile, this idiotic debate has no place in a thread designed to make no sense, which, unfortunately, your troll post does. If you really want to bitch about it, take it to a different thread. Continuing in the vein of not doing what this thread is designed for, but if I must. We've been working under certain definitions that work well for other forums. The definition of trolling that we use:

Trolling: Posts that are made with the aim of angering people. (like 'ALL JEWS ARE [insert vile comment here]' for example). While Trolls often make these posts strictly in an attempt to provoke negative comment, it is still trolling even if you actually hold those beliefs. Now, I will concede that, perhaps, it wasn't blatant trolling. If it wasn't, then it most certainly was flamebait, which is very close to trolling, as defined as:

Flamebait: Posts that are made with the aim of angering someone indirectly. Not outright flame, but still liable to bring angry replies. Flame baiting is a far more subtle and covert action; it is an underhanded tactic that is designed to provoke a response from another player.

In either case, it was an inappropriate post. Note, however, that you did not get a warning. The most inappropriate thing about it was that it was in the wrong damn thread. You are welcome to open a debate on OSX vs Windows vs Linux vs Giraffes vs whatever in another thread. I do suggest, that if you do, that you do it in a far less deplorable and rude manner.
