Back Seat Gamer 03/05/09

I hate when people do that, especially when they refuse to play, so you can't get some aggression out by causing some friendly fire incidents.

GOD! My dad would do that ALL THE TIME. I hated that so much I just stopped playing games in front of him.

Dad: Hey, what's that over there?
Me:...It's a rock.
Dad: Go see if you can do anything with it.
Me: Dad...it's a rock.
Dad: There might be something in it.
Me: It's a rock. If it was important, I would do something to it.
Dad: Hey, what's down that road?
Me: NOTHING.
Dad: How about that over there?
Me: DAD. IF IT WAS IMPORTANT, I WOULD DO SOMETHING WITH IT.
Dad: You never know.
Me: Yes I do. I've played this game before. That is NOT IMPORTANT.

This would go on the whole time I would play whatever game I was playing. Incessant questions and constant pointing out of the useless.

I was one of those. Except I knew what I was talking about. I would point something out, people would ignore me, and then they'd get stuck. I would remind them of what I pointed out, they'd check it out, and voila! Moving on with the game.

Nobody backseat plays me, because I simply do what they want me to do. Eventually they get bored or they run out of things for me to do. Of course, I have to be in a tolerant mood, otherwise I'm libel to bite your head off (literally) just for watching me play.

My dad would always watch me play, except he was to wrapped up in the story that he would only start to get angry when i would stray from the path that the story went down.

But, the only thing worse than a back seat gamer, is one that is under the age of 12.

Nothing will set a mother off quicker than trying to teach her ten year old how to pick up a hooker in GTA 4.

Except having already taught said ten year old and am now trying to teach them how to kill the hooker afterwards to get your money back.
