ALLERGIES & PHOBIAS!!!!

Allergies and Phobias, we all have them to some degree, so how about sharing?

Phobias: Deep Water. Simply can't handle being in water deeper than my chest, and completely freak if my head goes under the surface. Nearly drowned in the local swimming pool when I was 6, ever since I won't go in if I have a choice. Though Heights make me a little dizzy, and I'll freak out if I'm locked in a small place for a while, I don't consider myself Claustraphobic or having Vertigo.

Allergies: Mild Allergy to Cigarette Smoke, makes me sick and woozy.
Near Fatal Allergy to Alcohol.(As in it hasn't killed me yet. Two close calls, and the only times I've drank... can't even eat Chocolate Liquers, I'm that bad.) The smell of alcoholic stuff is enough to make me retch or actually puke.

Ugh, snap. Specifically I freak out if I can’t see the bottom of the body of water I'm in. I think the bit with the leviathan in Pinocchio did it to me. I just can’t help but obsess over what kind of lovecraftian horrors might be lurking under me in the darkness.

Allergies: That I know of, playdoh. Oh and that foam stuff that swimming floats are made of.

Then you'd love this little bridge near my home. It's a proper "Indiana Jones Temple of DOOM"style plank and rope bridge, and it swings mercilessly when you walk on it... without any wind... and it crosses a flooded mineshaft. It sits 10ft above the water, which goes from nice and bluey to BLACK!!! within a few inches of the edges. I have to cross this thing to get to the town and I swear something is looking at me from down there. Just waiting for the bridge to get closer to the surface...

Arachnophobic...well to a point at least. And no allergies that I know of.

Really no allergies

But i have a fear of heights, fear of places where i am under something large with the possibility of crushing me, and little people in large groups (this does not mean short people exclusively, it also involves children.)

Allergies: Penicilin Moderate, cat dander mild, dust mild, pollen mild, Cigarette smoke moderate, mold mild.

Phobias: Needles, Deep ocean water, centipedes.

Hmm Phobias...I don't think I have any, sure things freak me out, but I never was on a verge of a panic attack. Although one that makes me laugh (because of irony mainly) is hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia. Take a guess at what that phobia is related to.

As for allergies I'm allergic to Neosporin, and I use to be allergic to oranges. I out grew the oranges allergy, but I still dislike the taste of them, although I will drink orange juice.

I'm afraid of phobias, and allergic to oxygen.

Bizarrely it's the fear of long words.

I can just see the shrink saying to the poor guy with this, "Sir, you seem to have hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia..." and watching him dive under the couch, whimpering in terror.

Allergies: I'm allergic to sulfadrug. It's a type of ingredient in certain medications and hydrocortizones. Neosporin actually has sulfadrug in it. I break out in red blotches and hives all over my body and get really high fevers. I'm also allergic to Excedrin...that has a whole story attached to it...

Phobias: I'm a bit claustrophobic at times. I don't like being in places where I feel like I can't breathe, or like I'm cramped and can't move. I also get nervous when I'm in a car with another person driving. However that's a result of PTSD rather than an actual phobia. It's not as bad as it used to be. Now I only worry when someone else is driving, but I used to panic when even I was the one behind the wheel.

Can't say that I have any allergies or phobias that I can put a name too.

Allergies: Iodine (Though that may not be the case, long story), Mild hayfever

Phobias: Spiders, Needles (Irony!)

Allergy: none

Phobias: used to have one for bees, got stung 3-4 times every summer for a long time. I'm over that now. Ironicly I'm a little scared of dogs. Other then that i am cool with everything
