Hey guys sorry for the lack of activity on the form. I've been busy with life, you know work, taking care of my family, and...well I finally got a Nintendo Wii system and it sort of took my time. So to make up for it I thought I post a story I did for Lizzie starring her fursona.
Now some of you are asking what is Song Mission? Well it's a series of stories inspried by my favorite video game "The Elite Beat Agents" as my characters the Tops help people overcome their problems by singing and dancing to help movivate them. If some of you are not fans of script-style stories I'm sorry but it's just how I am. So I hope you all will enjoy this story and as for the song. It was just something I picked at random I don't even know who sings it. Please enjoy.
In a city outside an Anthrocon convention. We find an Iguana woman named Lizard Beth (or Beth for short) trying to make it to her plane trip home. But she ran into several problems, her artwork folder got spilled and she desperately races against time to find them all.
Her pictures got scatter around the airport and her plane leaves in exactly ten minutes.
Beth: Oh no...oh no, oh no, oh no. I can't leave my badges and drawings lying around. I promise my DA friends those pictures and I can't afford to lose them. Not to mention if I don't get on that plane in time I'll have to wait another month for my next plane trip and I don't have enough money or know anyone who lives here to help me. I...need....HHHHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLPPP!
Up in the Heavenly World King Archery of the Intergalactic Angels saw the whole thing.
Archery: The Tops song mission are GO!
The Tops arrive at the airport in a Taxi. They leap and land in front of Beth all dress like the Blues Brothers.
Tops: HEY! Mission: Lovely Lizard Lady in distress.
Beth: I must get my pictures back.
Tops: Are you ready?
Beth: YEAH!
Tops: 3...2...1 GO!
You've gotta shout if you've got something to say
I know it's getting bad, you read it every day
And you, you can try your best ot fight it
But you can't make it on your own
Someone better tell the people up there
I think they ought to know, the bubble's just about to bust
Tell them they'd better beware
The word is on the street, get up on your feet, and shout out
Beth races and manage to find all her pictures.
Beth: Yes! Ha-ha. Hmm? Oh dear I got to race I only have about 5 minutes left.
Tops: The kids out there don't know how to react
The streets are getting tough and that's a matter of fact
and I, I can't take it any longer
But we can't make it on our own
The people there find it hard to relate
They don't know how it feels to be standing there on your own
Believe me, it's never too late
It's time to make a move, get up on your feet and shout
Beth knew she can't race down the hall in time. She manage to ride a luggage cart and race down the hallway.
Beth: WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! This is fun.
She hops off the cart and manage to get her luggage in the planes loading bay.
Man: We'll make sure they arrive safely miss.
Beth: Thanks guys.
Tops: Stop, look down, everybody, do you see what's going on
around you, stop...
Shout out, shout it out, shout loud
Shout out, shout it out, shout loud
There are pepple who give and there are people who take
But I believe it's gonna get better
Realise what a difference you make
And don't turn away, Hey! I'm talking to you!
So there's only the one solution
Stop and think what's going on
You can draw your own conclusions
But we won't make it on our own
Beth has only thirty seconds to board her plane. She gave the attendent her ticket and hurries to her plane. The clock was starting to count down in 3...2...1.
Beth: MADE IT!
Soon Beth and her pictures are on the plane trip back home.
Beth: Wow...lets do it again next year.
Tops: Someone better tell the people up there
I think they ought to know
The bubble's just about to burst
Tell them they'd better beware
The word is on the street
Get up on your feet and shout
Stop, look down, everybody
Do you see what's going on
Around you, stop...
