    Ever worked on Customer Services/Tech Support?

    I worked in a funeral home and I had to deal with stupid questions from customers, the most common one was, "Do I have to be dead to buy a coffin?"

    or have people try to return underwear (boxers/panties) DESPITE clearly marked notices and staff telling the customer that "underwear can't be returned"

    i think it's fair to say that tech support jobs involving computers is among the worst jobs in costumer service. computers are still pretty obscure in the main stream.

    In the field of tech support, I wonder what the ratio of clueless and/or mildly insane people to people that just want help is.

    Also, 1-2-3-4-5 is the kind of thing an idiot would have on his luggage!

    I never worked in tech support, but I did work doing market research (calling out and asking people to take surveys) for a time. It was not fun.
