01/26/09 Getting Down to Business

Well it appears as if Sylver is the only one who actually believes in Inix's magic and what she does. Whether or not he "really" believes or is just humoring her remains to be seen. I never would have thought that I would have tagged Sid as the only one who would really be a good choice for that sort of thing.

What did I say? There was an ulterior motive to this date. She needed him for something. As far as I can tell, there doesn't seem to be any romance behind it. I don't think she's done explaining though, considering they got stuck on discussing Zig.

I'm impressed with Sylver... he actually managed do have a 7-panel conversation without being a jerk.

And, yeah, there's still Sid, although it's hardly a job for a pirate... it would be all over when he got a hold of some strong rum.

I liked Inix's expressions in this one. Until now she's kinda just had the "imperious indifference" look going on. And I hate to agree with anything Sylver says, but she is cute when she's jealous

Also, if Sylver is going to be hanging out with Sunny, things are going to get interesting. (define interesting. "oh god oh god we're all going to die? /firefly) uh, no... more like, I expect that she'll be a good influence on him, is all.

Not necessarily. Inix wants Sylver to watch Sunny, not the frog statue. A slight difference there. I do believe that Sunny will indeed be a positive influence on Sylver whether he wants her to or not.

Heh, although I didn't call it like Pan did, I did kinda think there was something else going on here. Also, I'm surprised that Sylver gets to be useful for once. Although I'd like to find out why Sid wasn't considered.

Something else I wonder, though, why the pretense of a date if Inix just needs Sylver to do something?

Maybe Sylver has to keep appearances?

Perhaps that was the only way she could actually hold his attention long enough without the conversation being purely him hitting on her and she retaliating.

I think Sylver may be deeper than he lets on, but we shall have to wait and see.

Jealous Inix is indeed cute.

Right now i see two ways this could end (not exclusively) 1) we could get a less sylvery sylver (make sense of that) or 2) massive trans-dementional rip that could consume all.

Another thing Inix better stop being jealous quick, before she loses sylver in all her beauty. And once you have been lured down that road... you don't want to come back.
