Artwork Thread
I know some of us here have got to be artists. Would it be okay to start and art thread here? Or could there be a separate section for art someday?

Practice! That's what I do. References are helpful. Right now I suck at drawing castles and towers, so I'm practicing drawing a picture with a castle tower in it.

Re: Artwork Thread
I'm reviving this, because I post my work everywhere but here. MAJOR THREAD BUMP!!
Anyway, I did this happy kangaroo girl while at Dante's house. I was feeling happy, so a happy drawing was born. I am calling her Shelly. She's listening to the Zutons.

Re: Artwork Thread
Went through my gallery and this is the one thing I'd like to share.
I just like it the most out of the ones I looked through.

By the way, I liked your rendition of Running Cloud, SD. Don't think I mentioned that last I saw you on the chatbox.

Re: Artwork Thread
New painting I finished today. Inspired by a song from the Silent Hill soundtrack...the name of which escapes me at the moment. Dante told me that when he heard this song the first time, he was looking out his car window and saw a scene like this. A foggy road with overhanging trees. 18x24'' canvas, acrylics with caligraphy ink.

My best contribution to the world of art has been to appreciate the work of others. If everyone could do it, it wouldn't be a gift.

Re: Artwork Thread
I have decided to resurrect this thread! Here's something I finished tonight (and started weeks ago):

The character isn't mine, Garr had a segment on the former furry/political radio show 2 Sense. He had a mad sexy voice. >.>

Re: Artwork Thread
Started With Reference Sketch,Scanned It, Then Used Paint.NET kinda like photo shop only it's less advanced. Finally got a scanner from a very nice lady, early christmas gift. http://mecingo.deviantart.com/ I just started a account, I love the community so many talents that go untaped it's a shame really, number of views doesn't equal quality.

See the face, glass infront of it. Mainly something from one of my nightmares, inspired me to make it, in my dream I was in a locker room I look out the window and it slowly appeared, scared me enough look hard you can see a face with a smile. Theres also some of it's torso at the bottom.
