Out of curisousty, why do you say this?

I don't play the game and have never heard of any downside of the game so far, even though I like Star Trek in general.

I actually didn't have a problem with it, others did. So they left and it became largely empty. And a lack of money to keep up a subscription.

It was the first MMORPG I played and it seemed to me that the biggest (and dumbest) complaint others had was that it wasn't as big/complex as WOW. My biggest complaint was that the ships couldn't loop.

Mostly, other people mad it sad for me.

I actually hope to play it again in a couple months. I know they've fixed several of the visual tics and added Caitians, too.

Also, am I the only one that has sad things happen? Bleh.

[mod] If you were laughin' at a group of individuals, no I don't see the harm, but when you target ONE person, I consider that borderline trollin'. You've been warned. And I'll talkin' to Grey about this too. [/mod]

heres a little method of thinking for me. whats the worst about laughing? laughter is happiness and the only thing that keeps people from laughing at some thing is they simply refuse to laugh. if you or Grey were to laugh at some thing not so nice i said to you... what's the worse that will happen? besides, its not like i don't expect the same from you. seriously! try it! you'll get a laugh. i say go ahead and laugh at a dead baby joke, laugh at a Holocaust joke, hell laugh at a 9/11 joke. it won't make you a horrible person.

Cuboos, do you have a problem with me? You have never once respected my decision as a moderator since you came onto this forum. You've always cried to Liz about it or tried to turn it into a joke, that attitude and behaviour is wearin' pretty thin now.

think about this, you're frustrated now right? well if you learn to laugh at some thing you once thought shouldn't be laughed at, it won't be a big deal the next time it comes up. you want to really stop a troll? don't put significance into their work. when you react negatively, they win, period. (and when the hell did i cry to Liz about anything?)

So you're admitting you're a troll? Good to know. And she sort of has to put significance into trolls' work, that's the point of being a moderator.

i never said i wasn't. Even Liz knows I'm one, hell even shes gotten back at me a few times. you're going to get annoyed allot of times if you frequent the internet and you get riled up every time some one starts acting like the ass hole, and some times there's nothing you can do about it. I'm serious now, ignore every thing that makes you mad, yes do some moderation if the person is persisting in intentionally trying to cause trouble. how ever I'm not, as a matter of fact I'm trying to make it harder for people to cause trouble. i know from EXPERIENCE -- yes i have experience in community moderation -- that the best way to prevent drama is to be less strict about the behaviored of the community members. you don't have to embrace it but punishing or demeaning people for even small infractions is going to bring more then what started. want a good example? http://www.silentwulf.com/phpbb/ first forum I've ever visited and became a member of and I'm still a loyal member. every one swears, every one pulls a joke at some one else's expense we even make racist remarks there! there is barley any drama there between members. every body likes each other every body is a friend there. every body has the SAME interests as every body on this forum has. there are dedicated role players there, tech no geeks, furries, 4chan members, weaboos and yet no real drama. not to mention a much higher active member count. restrictions are what keep people from making friends. you want people to be nice? let them, don't make them.
