Trying to get a 4 point surround audio system working, while not using two speakers that work on a side because of some tear in the speaker cables.

So, I have taken two other basic speakers, and have succesfully used it as rear speakers.
Now I have a new problem, I can't use the system without turning down the the Volume through Windows because I don't have the volume control for the 4 point audio system, meaning if it is turned down, I can't hear the rear speakers well. If I have it turned up, then I get blasted in the face from the front speakers. Weird conundrum for me.

You can balance the speakers manually inside of windows you know. :V

My pen drive got corrupted. The pen drive with work that's due in for the end of the week.
Work that I foolishly hadn't made backups of yet; which I now have to start again more or less from scratch.
    Yay A levels.

Well, I seem to have lost my job. Although it kind of qualifies more for the Meh thread than this one, but we don't have a Meh thread.

Wonderful Christmas this year. I love being invited to take a two hour drive to spend time with people I don't like and barely know, to have Christmas celebrated before I arrive and not receive presents at all. It's great. Yep.

If they're that bad, why didn't you just not go? Christmas is about being happy, and if it pleases you to not go to the annual gathering, you have no obligation to attend.

OT: I got to drive an hour and a half on icy wet skid-tastic roads through sleet and snow to spend time with my extended family whom I share almost nothing in common with, and my great grandmother, who makes me sad because her heart is failing, she's more or less wheelchiar bound, and this will likely be the last time I see her. I basically drove for three hours round trip to stand in an overheated corner for most of the day feeling like crap. Oh, and did I mention that I get to spend even more time with these people on monday, just minus the ailing great grandmother? Whoopee. But to avoid being completely bitter, watch this:
beware the ranting and wear headphones:
