*A man on a horse approaches the small group.*

I swear to god if this guy is part of some Holy Order here to stop us or some stupid nonsense I'm just going to shoot him. I don't care what happens after that because quite frankly I can't take it anymore.

*The man on the horse is clearly drunk and speaks in a slurred Irish accent.*

"Oi, you fellas heading *hic.* to town?"

Please God throw us a bone....Yes.

"Aye you best hurry then, don't want you to miss out on the ale. There might be something weaker for your lass friends"

Thank you, are there any inns with rooms available?

"Heh, there's always rooms available, half the time people are either passed out drunk or fightin' at night."

"I could drink you under the table fatso." Said Pan, wrinkling her nose at the drunken horseman. She walked past him and snorted, Sera following her. The horseman watched Sera pass by, and leaned down to SD.


"Ehheh....that one yours?" he asked.

Pandora wrote:

*SD just stares at the Irish man.*

"What?"

*SD shakes his head and walks away.*

[Sera]"What does he mean by 'that one yours?'"

Ummm he means "Are you friends"

[Sera]We're friends! Yay!

*Sera grabs a death grip hold on SD's arm.*

The trio came to the road before the small village. There were people milling about here and there. Pandora pointed to the left.

"That must be the inn fatty was talking about."

She began walking toward it. As they passed through, men looked up and stared after Seraphine (why can't I decide how to spell her name XD ). The women looked after her, but with looks of slight discomfort or distaste on their faces, whereas the men had looks of interest or even lust. Pandora noticed, and leaned near SD.

"This isn't good already...she's drawing stares without even doing anything. I think mortal men have erm...less resistance than the last few magic beings we've encountered. I really don't think we should stay here long."

We'll spend the night here, I'll get a room for you two so you can keep an eye on her. She already bothers me enough as is. Just keep her out of trouble for a minute while I talk to the keeper.

*SD shoves his way past several people and talks to the inn keeper.*

Excuse me sir, can me and my friends get two rooms. One for me and one for two women.

*Another Irish man slings his arm around SD's neck.*

[irish man] Two women? My friend you're a lucky lad.

The last guy who guy who did that to me was beaten to death with his own spine. And right now I'm really pissed so I suggest you don't touch me again.

[Irish man] Aww why don't you share?

You want one of them? Tell you what talk to the one with the giant blade for an arm. What I just said I was going to do to you would be mundane compared to what she can do. Go on. Do it. I. Dare. You.

[Irish Man] I....I think I best be getting home.

[Inn Keeper] We have two rooms ready now. Would you like a drink now or in your room?

*SD signals Pan and Sera to head for the stairs.*

Ummm, just some ale in our rooms is fine, we'll only be here for the night.

Pan grabs Seraphine's hand and pulls her up the stares before any more of the men could pick up on the..."pherimones" she was releasing. They got to the room, Pan shoved her in, followed and then shut the door.

"Aww...I don't get to talk to anyone?" said Seraphine, removing the jacket SD had put over her earlier.

Pan turned to her quickly, "No. Not now. Not in this town. We're staying here tonight then we're leaving. You can talk to me if you must."

Seraphine twitched her tail.
"Where is the other one? Can I talk to him?"

"Especially not him. He's fine. You can talk to him tomorrow."

*SD downs the mug of ale.*

Ahhh...need to take edge off...

*the bar tender gives another mug to SD.*

[Bar Tender] What about your party members?

Oh second thought it's probably best they don't have anything, one I only just met and...well I don't know if she can handle any liquor and the other is keeping an eye on her.

[Bar Tender] You look pretty beat up, run into any rouges?

N....Yeah, they got the drop on us but we fought them off. What can you tell me about that old castle out in the plains?

[Bar Tender] That old place? It's been abandoned for centuries, just an old husk of a castle is all it is now. No one knows what it was for. People say an evil spirit lives there, but I don't believe it, that's just crazy drunken talk.

Ye...yeah crazy. Tell me are then any cities, churches, or something nearby? We don't want to be too much of a bother.

[Bar Tender] There is one odd place about a day's hike away. If you want I can get you some horses to make the trip easier. It's odd, but generally nice people are there.

*SD gets up and heads to his room. He opens the door and walks into it.*

Ugg...I'm so tired.

*he throws his sword and gun holsters onto the chair. He lies down on the bed.*

Just...need some sleep....

*SD drifts off into a dream.*

*SD rolls to his side in his sleep. His sword pluses red and white*

Can't believe this guy, a succubus night next door and he's sleeping. I give him credit for being able to repeal for now, but how much longer until he gives in.

Well I guess he's just too tired, time travel, fighting a horde, and then being resurrected might take a lot out of a mortal.

*the sword glows bright red.*

I'll let his body rest tonight, but if that succubus makes a move on him I'll cut her pretty little head off myself.

Pandora was having a harder time sleeping, not for stress or lack of trying, Seraphine wouldn't shut up.

"Can I play with your tail? What's that big thing on your arm? How did you put it there? Can you take it off?..."

Pandora shoved her head under a pillow and growled.

"Seraphine...you're really nice and all but SHUT THE HELL UP AND GO TO SLEEP ALREADY WILL YOU?"

"Oh. You don't want to talk?"

"We can talk in the morning..."

"Oh. OKAY!"

Mercedes, pass me my helmet please.

*The rabbit girl looks over at Tease, retrieves her helmet and passes it to her* I hope you aren't thinking of running off to save your friends?

Tease: No, just doing a little check. *slides her helmet on* Status check on Cherub 372, and comlink 381.
Helm: Cherub 372 is 98% functionality, it can recieve and generate survival upgrades, but cannot presently transmit. Comlink 381 is fully functional and is in possession of a female Homo Panthera Leo, Designation: Pandora.
Tease: Status on both of them?
Helm: Both are registering as alive.
Tease: Okay. Download the GPS upgrade to Dante, mark our position on it, and open comms. Pandora? Can you hear me? Dante?

Pandora jumped for a second at the sound of Tease's voice. Taking a few seconds to register what was going on, she replied, "Tease? That you? Where are you?"

Seraphine took notice that Pandora was talking to someone.

"Oooo! Who's that?" she asked.

*The cherub on Dante beeps registering it's upgrade package being received. However Dante doesn't take note of it being too far in a dream.*

Huh, well at least the other girl is still alive.

*Dante let's out a loud snore.*

What a lazy bum.

*The sword's aura fades.*

Hmm almost day break? Felt like it's only been a few hours. Time for me to rest.

*Dante turns in sleep, his sword's aura disappears.*

Pan, I'm in a small church about 6 miles north of you. Recovering from a bad 'port. How are you and Dante doing?

"We're doing okay, we beat the Mage with the Africa-sized ego, but um...we...er...picked something up in the process..." said Pan.

"Who's there? Is that the sleeping lady from the church? Can I talk to her? Huh?!"

*Dante sits up in his bed, hearing Pan speaking through the paper thin walls.*

mmmhhmmm....

*half awake Dante gets out of the bed and walks into the hall. He knocks on Pan's door.*

Hey..Pandora, something wrong.

*the cherub beeps and shows a type of Helmet Mounted Display (HUD for a helmet basically) despite the fact he isn't wearing a helmet*

Pandora noticed that SD was at the door. By now, Seraphine was attempting to climb over her shoulder to talk into the device.

"Um..no! Nothing's wrong-gettoffme-Tease just contacted me-ow! You're making this difficult-and she's at a little church nearby..."

"Hey! It's the doggie man from before!" Seraphine hopped off Pandora's shoulder, bounced to the door and opened it.

"Come talk with us! The lady from the room in the hut earlier is saying stuff through a thing!"

(Oh congrats on the new relationship Pan)

*Dante took a moment to get acclimated to the HMD.*

Okay, health status, radar, waypoint system...I think I got it.

*Dante registers what Sera says*

Stuff through a thing?...Oh the headset! So Tease must be alive.

*The cherub beeps and shows a health status of Tease, "Subject Teasealot, Currently in good health. Went through a traumatic teleport spell and was out of commission for a few hours. Current location six miles north of your current location. Registering waypoint." A waypoint is set with a distance meter.*

Alright now we're in business. Pan if you're ready we can get going. I know exactly where we need to go.

OOC: Just to throw this in; I haven't abandoned this rp. There's just no need for my character to participate right now. As far as anyone is concerned, I'm still outside the hut resting.

Pan got off the bed and walked to the door, remembering to grab the jacket that they had thrown over Sera the night before.

"Do not take this off when we are outside." she said.
"Okay, I won't."
"And stay close to me. Don't make eye contact, especially with the men."
"Why not?"
"Just don't. It will make this trip a lot easier if you just don't."
"Alright."
"Lead the way...'doggie man'."

*Outside of the Inn a girl brings out two horses.*

Don't you have a third one?

[girl]Sorry these are the only two we have.

Fair enough we're not planning on returning how do want us to get them back here?

[girl] You're going to the church up north right?

Yes.

[girl] Then don't worry about it, they have a stable there and we'll send someone out to get them back.

*Dante checks the horses. They seemed a little scared, possibly sensing what Sera really is.*

Oh right.

*Dante walks up to Sera and checks one of the pockets inside of the jacket. The book from the mage is in one of them.*

Good still there.

*He hops up on one of the horses.*

Either one of you know how to ride one of these?

"Yeah. Not that hard." Pandora notices the horses unease. They inch away from Sera. She walked close to SD again, and gestured.
"That might be a problem..."

*Dante looks around to see if there's a way to remedy the problem...*

Hmmm....

*An old carriage sits by the stable.*

Miss would it be possible if we used the horse carriage. I think young lady with us is a little afraid of horses? [mutters] or the other way around....

[stable girl] I don't see why not...

*Dante gets down from the horse and sets the carriage in place and ties the horses to it.*

Alright ladies let's get going.

*He opens the carriage door for Pan and Sera.*

"That should keep anyone from seeing her. Good thinking."
Pan climbs in, taking Sera's hand and drawing her in too.

"Let's just get outta here."

*After a few hours the small group was only about a mile away from the small church.*

Almost there if this thing has the right building.

*Dante took notice of the church, it was a simplistic design, small, and probably would normally go unnoticed. There was what appeared to be a hut nearby as well.*

I wonder if this thing can tell me how many people are there.

*The cherub beeps and registers several people inside the church and one in the hut.*

Okay let's see, a black vixen, Tease, a rabbit girl, a gray wolf, several other people and....a yellow cat in the hut. And if this thing is right he's asleep.....way to go Grey.

*the carriage stops. Dante hops down and opens the door.*

We're here.

Seraphine was the first to pop out. Throwing off her jacket, she ran to the church.

"They know me here!" she said gleefully.

Pandora hopped out after her.

"Let's hope that's true..."
