I believe in second chances. I wouldn't say it right in front of Sunny, not right then. Besides, Zig didn't see Sylver's entire conversation with the lifeguard. What he said about asking if she'd seen the others could have a (very small) grain of truth in it.
But even so, yeah. Wuss. Either that, or Bruce Banner syndrome...

Ugh. Why is Zig's character such a pansy-@ss? Sylver has gotten his butt kicked in several previous comics, why is someone who is bigger and taller than him so very frightened of such a wannabe tough guy?

Zig is a socially repressed person who does nothing but sit in his house all day, play video games, and converse with his creations... it's pretty easy to see how this is.

Because Zig is a pacifist. I don't think he likes physical confrontations at all, and thus will do anything to avoid them. I think that Sid's going to get the real story from Sylver and Zig individually later, probably once everyone gets home. I know that Sid and Max still suspect something.
