Color a comic!

I've been having fun coloring! Take a look:





The first one I colored with pencil and the second with marker, if you can't tell. Yay! Artistic expression coming out even if I suck at drawing! What'cha think?

Are you the one coloring your avatars? Cause I admire the coloring job. On the computer or by hand? I've been doing this by hand. Mostly because it feels better. Computer work looks nicer though...

I've been coloring by the computer. Yeah, I've made a handful of color avatars based on latest comics. And now, my timely submission.




I'm tired. I have three more I want to do. I'm looking through the archive for good, and easy possibilities. I'm lazy at CG, but I love it.

I tried to color one today, but I kept making so many mistakes I eventually got mad at it and crumpled it up and set it on FIRE.

*breathes*

I shall try again tomorrow.

It gets that way. I took today off on coloring because of the 3 Doors Down concert and yesterday because I was tired. I have a few new prospect on coloring, but then I had a thought of doing all the comics.

Also add, in hind sight. I love the way the color pencil shading is.

I applaud the work there. I can't work with pencil crayons. I have a problem with them

I think if me and Maxine were in a room alone with her in that shirt. I'd be all "pre-messed-up" Rex on her. It'd be worth the pain. >_>

XD This is awesome! I, for one, vote that this should be turned into a color comic...we should let a user color a strip each week...we certainly have the motivation here...

Thanks, but no thanks. As far as I can tell, the two of use are the only ones who do this. I dunno about ZeWi, but it takes me a while to color these cause I just use colored pencils or markers.

In other news, I'll have another one for you guys tomorrow, I'm almost done.

I printed up the one I was going to color, but I lost the paper so I have to locate it or print it again before I can color it. Still, I have dibs on Maxine putting the rat guy in the hospital.

I have colored several just for fun, but my computer won't upload them for some reason, so i'm just stuck.

It takes a lot of time to color these. It is fun, but between life and this, there'd be a lot of delays in releases. Lord Grey II is correct.

As far as I can tell, the two of use are the only ones who do this.

As far as main stream coloring, I think it's just the two. And it is still for fun. It may not be so fun if it were actually like a job and had a deadline. I'd quit. Hah.

haha, know you understand why I don't color the comic.

Well... that and I wanna make yearly books, and color book printing is SOOOOO expensive. o.O

See, what we'd need to be able to do color comics would be:
1) Win lottery
2) Quit jobs
3) Buy the most expensive thing you want.
4) Color because you're a rich b@st@rd.
5) Drink your imported liquor that costs $300 a bottle
6) Wake up and cry all over again

I think since there are a few people wanting colored comics. We should make a color comic request thread. I don't know how popular the color comics are though. Hm.. Just a thought. As posted before, I think it's really just me and Lord Grey II that would be doing it. I personally would color some request, but no guarantees though. Any opinions on this?

NOBODY TOUCHES THE ONE WITH MAXINE HOSPITALIZING THE RAT. I found my printout of it and I can do it now.
