Just markers. It would have looked better if the gray marker I was using hadn't spread out a little and colored in the Rat's eyes on the smaller pictures. Prismacolors tend to run a bit I've noticed. The only Prismacolor I used was on the Rat though.

That looks really good. I like how you colored the fire around Maxine. Great effect!

Thanks. I was going to do the whole background on that one in flames, but I think it stood out better just being around her.

I cant compare to this Razz, as i only used paint, and its much harder because of the pixels...

    Color a comic! - Page 2 Brokenplotdevicecolours

I tried at least, may not be the best Razz

Also, yes the hair didnt come out as i'd hope, mostly because if i tried to fix, i had to remove some of the strokes completely, which i dont think would be very much likely to do.... Also, the same goes for the pants of max, because of all those 10000's of strokes...

but lord grey, the first drawing you coloured had a weak and nice colour. The other ones seems to be too dark coloured. Try to lighten up on the pencil Razz, its looks much better when its bright instead of dead dark Very Happy.

I agree! But the first one I did is the only one I've done in pencil; all the others are in marker. The one in pencil looks absolutely fantastic in person, but my scanner lightens the bejeesus out of them and I can't get it to darken without changing the colors. So I switched to markers for the sake of sharing them here.

Okay, Razz, i was just tipping, too bad it doesnt work too well i guess Razz, at least i can say "better that than none" Very Happy, i like seeing the comics in colours, as i mostly suck at this Razz, so i'd like to see some real works, and you two guys definately seem to do well on this colouring, even tough it may take some time before it appears here Razz

Friendly Fur, I use Paint for a lot of the stuff I do. All it takes is a little patience, some time and a little confidence in your abilities... did I actually say that... Considering... never mind that. What I said is still true.

Yes, the hat is good, Zewi. Wink

Tease, what did you use to color it? I feel like I'm the only person who still colors using markers and pencils. Good job though!

I used MSPaint... but if I had a scanner, I'd be using my pencils and markers instead.

Well, it took longer than expected to have time to color again... but I did! Yay!

List of people I hate to color:

    Summer
    Inix (NEW)

I wish my scanner didn't suck as much as it does.

(taps mic) Uh... is this thing on?

Srsly, though, some of you might recognize me from Ustream sessions. I just decided to give coloration a shot with the latest strip (Banana Hammock).

It's not done, and to that effect, I would ask that some critiquing be made, if you would. This is the WIP in question:

    Color a comic! - Page 2 5k0sa8

Things that I know aren't done (so don't comment on, please):

    - Shadows on legs and tail

    - Uncolored/unshadowed hair

    - Idea Guy in total

Things that are 'done' (and well-open to violent rage critique):

    - Coloration of Liz's skin, facial features

    - Coloration and shadowing of the first two hair... strands?

    - Shadowing on upper body

Also, can anyone tell me what that is behind Liz's left arm? I can't figure it out... I'm also wondering if anyone has suggestions for what color her lower eyebrow should be...

What I'm most looking for is whether it's good so far or not. If it is, I blame luck, but keep going. If it's not, I blame lack of experience with digital artz, and quit now before I waste more of my time.

    Thanks in advance Neutral
