It always struck me as silly as someone who could be a valuable ally is downed for possible just wandering, plus giving the fludity of low/null sec, some pilots could be unaware of a sov change....

Why do you think we detest the phrase "if it's not blue, it's goo"

Re: Eve Online
Nilo, are you able to get on EvE at some point ?
Due to the tower being fixed Me and Tease are running missions again and it would be awsome to have you join us.
On a related note, apparntly CCP is wanting to encourage people to leave Empire space for Low / Null sec.
(muzzles the vixen) While that is a good thing and I am tempted with such work, I don't have the time to roam null/low sec nor the time to replace fragged ships, I am quite happy woth Empire work, besides someone has to keep the local 'rats under control :3

Re: Eve Online
Well, lo-sec pretty much sums it up... lost one in a drawn-out 1-on-1 fight and another being ambushed on my way out of lo-sec... thing is damn expensive to replace T-T

Re: Eve Online
Desperately trying to prepare myself for the Great Land Grab on the 8th- low funds leads to worrying over whether or not I'll actually be able to afford any structures, and so far all the missions I've been given aren't paying too well. Not the most fun of times.

Re: Eve Online
For those of you yet to strike the earth I offer a few words of warning based on what I've played with so far in Perimeter:
Planetary links will eat your CPU capacity like acid if you aren't careful- try to place your command centre close to wherever it is you're going to be mining (Having a good command centre might help too). Bah, ignore my ranting. Higher grades of command centre offer extremely increased CPU capacity compared to the basic model, making power more of an issue. Train Planetary Upgrades if haven't already, and use the more advanced CC models instead.
Thus far, the only way I've found to cancel an extraction order is to decomission the extractor itself. Make sure you read the numbers thouroughly when choosing extraction rates.
From what I've experienced, things have been quite interesting so far. I might try some lower-security systems when I have time spare to go running all over the Forge and I don't have an exam every day. On the other hand I HAVE MORE THINGS TO DO THAN JUST MINE AND MISSION RUN NOW AAAAAHAHAHA*ahem*.

Re: Eve Online
Hulkageddon is back, and all us Miners know what that means... some idiot psycho ganker decidin' that your Minin' Barge, Exhumer or Minin' Support Ship (Orca or Rorqual) is goin' to be a statistic. Just because someone thought this would be a good idea for a yearly competition...
You must be a real coward and socially misaligned individual if you think huntin' lone miners (whose ships are unarmed) in a battleship, specialty combat ship or bigger warship (heard about someone doin' this in a Dreadnaught, Carrier or Titan) is a fun thing to pass the time...
