Re: Eve Online
Just remembered a little funny story in Eve.(I was playing on Blackwolf's computer)
Just after the new stuff came out, I was happily chasing down rats in one of the Kino ice belts, when I spotted a new feature in the locale. I wandered over to have a look at the pretty spacial anomaly, and stopped some 10 km away from it, I wasn't sure what it was and actually considered it a glitch so I asked over Local if everyone else could see the anomaly as well... They could. Apparently a wormhole had appeared in the ice belt. I kept looking at it, wondering if I should have a look through in Sekhmet (my combat cormorant). One of the other locals decided to come over and look at it too... in his Orca. He came racing up, I think he was using an afterburner because of his speed, and tried to stop near me... unfortunately he kinda overshot and disappeared into it.
A minute and a half later, he came back. Smoking and on half structure, all he said over local when he reappeared was ;O"."O;;. Someone asked the dumbest question you could ask at that time, "Are you Okay?" His reply, "KEEP THE BAD THINGS AWAY!!!" Since no one knew anything about Sleepers or wormholes at the time, I had to ask the question of "Can the Sleepers follow you through a wormhole?" Since no one knew anything, Ice mining suddenly stopped as 20+ Hulks, Mackinaws, and other mining ships and one cormorant suddenly became fixated on the wormhole, waiting for some huge battleship to appear... We stared at it for a good 10 minutes, doing NOTHING but praying that something didn't come out.
Oh, to the new guys... STAY THE F*** AWAY FROM THESE!!! SLEEPERS WILL KILL YOU BEFORE YOU BLINK!!! (and to the seasoned vets, don't contradict me. Basic ships would go POOF!! if a Sleeper battleship locked on, and as they have trial accounts...)

Re: Eve Online
I have fought Serpentise crusiers and Blood Raider Battleships. I have tangled with the likes of Cry Havoc and Veto Corperation. I have seen Titans fall and Motherships rise. I have been to the edge of known space and back more times then many can remember. But the most horrid thing my eyes have ever seen was a sleeper battleship killing a capsuleer's carrier in but a few seconds. His friends could do nothing as the support fleet met the same end. Sleepers are that dangerous.

By the way make sure you loot missions, there be good stuff in those wrecks, and you can refine it and sell the minerals you get!

Re: Eve Online
That module is passive. So its effect is always on. About half the modules in the game are passive. The easiest way to tell is to look under the items info, under the attributes tab. If there is an activation timer then it needs to be turned on. If there is no timer or activation cost then its a passive module. Just remember that active modules eat up your capacitor. if you run out of cap then the modules turn off. Also be aware of what ech module does to your ship. A Nanofiber internal structure will decrease you ships mass and thus make it faster and more maneuverable. But it kills 10% of you hull hit points. Just be aware of these things when specking out a ship.

Re: Eve Online
There is a rig called a "Warp Core Optimizer" that increases your warp speed. that being said the second version of the interceptor has the fastest warp speed in the game at 13.5 AU a second.

Re: Eve Online
Considering it takes 10 min to warp ~5000 AU that's pretty incredible
