Bullsh*t. Men ARE selfish liars. They go behind your back and when they say "sorry" it isn't because they're sorry they did something wrong or hurtful, they're just sorry they got CAUGHT doing it. I'm dyslexic and have taken a course in office computer use. I can type like I speak, generally formally at a fair speed. Even when playing online games such as WoW / EvE I have only used shorthand and that was during battlegrounds. Inc: <Location> and that was it.
This abomanation of a language has infected elder players to, a friend on EvE is a 40+ father and uses it....

Joel does. That's who. He said that he can't get back with me because he "wants things that I don't." Upon asking what those "things" were, it was revealed that those "things" were actually just a thing and it was porn. He refuses to compromise on it. He would rather have porn than be with me.

And it's controlling because they act all sorry to manipulate you, and then get what they want by playing on your sympathies.

Well, I'm under the impression that I have a problem connecting with other people. I wouldn't extrapolate that to all other guys. In fact, I think it's pretty unfair to judge an entire gender based on the actions of a few.

And if I ask the question I want to ask here, I'll derail the thread. But it's not worth creating a new thread about. So all we get is this handsome extraneous note.

Grey I'm with you on that one, I find it extremly difficult to connect with anyone and even then it takes years for me to count them as a true friend.
Granted how I met Tease was a little diffrent and we both had some major events happen in our lives that helped us forge a bond. Without a thought she is my soulmate and I don't think I could go on without her, sure we still have fights but who doesnt?

Proof that the 'great' british public are voyerist people who will watch X amount of famewhores make total prats of themselves in a attempt to get thier 15 minutes of fame..
I watched most of the first series, as at the time it was an intresting social experament, but as soon as it was over and various housemates had garned some fame and fortune, the industry went into full swing and started milking it and them for every penny they could.
Then they seemed to go out of thier way to find the most wierd freaks they could and stuck them in the same building, this is the type of excrement that 'gave' us Jade Goody, a air headed speak before you think racesit waste of space, AND PEOPLE THOUGHT SHE WAS A FRICKING IDOL !!!!
If I thought I could get away with it, I'd firebomb that place after making sure the doors where locked and then go and visit the people behind it with a large club.
Stuff like this makes me want to vomit.

I think it's safe to say reality shows suck no matter what their subject matter and where they're showed.

It's safer to avoid the stupidity by not watching TV. That way all the references people make fly over your head!

Wireless networks. There to give you more freedom with your computing needs... WHEN THEY F****** WORK!!!!!!!! I do a lot of stuff with my laptop, and frequently need to go online with it. A lot of my MSPaint stuff ends up in my deviantart page... which means I need it to connect. Does it?
NO!!!!!!! It f******* doesn't connect... but when I'm busy typing a story or an adventure for one of my multiple campaigns or watching a DVD on it... *BING!!!!* "You are now connected!!" Usually in the middle of the damn thing. Imagine sitting in a darkened room, watching a horror and in the middle of the tense bit, the bit you are the most tense and reactionary, *BING!!!* Your boyfriend looks over and you've disappeared behind the sofa because of the damn laptop suddenly connecting...
I like the freedom, but the reliability really needs improving.

What's grinding my gears is that some people never freakin' grow UP.

1) Someone whom I've chosen not to speak to anymore went to the restaurant Joel works at, drunk, and told him that he avoids being home so he won't have to listen to me should I come to him for support. Then expected Joel to keep that a secret from me. Yeah, if he's going to be that way, then I'm just not going to go to him at all. For any reason.

2) Some idiot that I used to go to high school with really wanted to go out with me. I didn't feel that way about him. So, to protect his delicate male ego, he decided to tell people that I'm lesbian. Yeah, sure, because all the boyfriends I've had and the sex with Joel I enjoyed is totally negated JUST because I wouldn't go out with him.

3) This same person from high school is under the impression that my friend, Pat, and I are having sex because we hang out a lot. Doesn't make much sense does it? First he tells people I'm a lesbian because I wouldn't go out with him, now he's saying that I must be humping Pat because we see each other a lot. No. It IS possible to be just friends with a guy.

Pan, 95% of guys (with a 5% margin for error) automatically assume that it CAN'T be them that's wrong or unattractive so they automatically latch on to the notion that it has to be the girl's fault, and usually it's the Lesbian response.

If you want to fight fire with fire, spread the rumour that the main reason you didn't go out with him is that you heard he's gay.
