Spiders
I was just sitting working on somethign to post on my DA account and I felt a itching sensation on my wrist, I'm sufferinf from Tendonitis at the minute so I didn't think much of it, after a while I looked at my wrist before scratching it.
....
It was a spider the size of a small coin, I'm extremly arachnophobic, I flick the little bugger with a flick of my wrist before I know what I'm doing (Just because I don't like them, dosen't mean I'll kill them)
Cue several audible crunches from my wrist and a look on my face that Tease discribed as "on the receving end of a polo mallet to the boys" and a whimper of pain.
I really dispise spiders....

Over the weekend i was at our local comic shop which is a very popular hangout so i carry my laptop and stuff inside. while i'm there i get bored and take out my notebook that i have been writing in for two months and start writing in it.

When i get home i realize its gone. So i'm thinking great two months work down the drain. Then i get a call from one of my "friends" and he starts laughing when i ask him if he saw it. He tells me that they were all playing a joke on me and they took it. Four days tearing my house apart looking for it for nothing.

No not yet I'm not even sure that its still there. I'm just hoping that the people who own the place recognized that it was my notebook and put it away for me.

The DJ at the karaoke place being a d*ck.

His friends were in town, so he favored them all frikkin' night. My friend and I got there at 7:30, an hour before the karakoke started at 8:30. We wrote down our songs, we had 4 each, and one song to sing together. We waited THREE HOURS to sing our duet, and had to wait at least 5 songs inbetween our solos. Now, the problem we had with that was the 5-7 songs we usually had to wait between were the same frikkin three people. They were obviously the DJ's friends because he kept going over to their table to talk to them.

On top of that, the place charges a dollar a song after 11 pm and ends at 12. We put in all of our songs before 11, at 8:30, and since we had to wait so damn long, we still had songs left after 11, AND HE MADE US PAY FOR THEM!

We've decided not to ever come back and do karaoke there. We're going to the bar down the street now.

Could they sing or did they sound like most Karaoke singers (sounding like a flock of geese on helium)?

Some of them were just gawd-awful, and some of them were good, but all they sang was generic country songs. Sitting through three and a half hours of generic country songs...

Normally, not much of a bother, when your sneaking around a raider infested 7-11 and you take your hand off the mouse to wave it away, just as a raider appears and shoots you with a alien disruptor, instakilling you.....

Got told for the eleventy billionth time I got told that my avalibility for a job was not what they were looking for. I would really like to know how when I say that I can work any time they ask, how my avalibilty does not work for them? And also, WTF is meant by "you are over qaulified?" that is the other one I get alot.

That usually means that you're asking for too much money.

While I'm glad for Liz, getting all these podcasts and interviews and reviews and whatnot, I'm formally lodging a protest. Against TGT webcomics, anyways. Well, not so much formal, as I can't do anything about it. Maybe I'm just complaining about TGT.

As some of you may remember, I used to review webcomics. I 'worked' for the TGT guys back when it was known as frumph.net. We had a falling out, and I don't particularly like them anymore. Especially since they apparently deleted the reviews I've done for them. I participated in their podcasts for only a little while; my initial introduction into the podcasts was episode 5. I was under the same name I use now, Lord Grey II.

This may be a rant just because I personally dislike Frumph and VertigoX now, but I don't really think Liz should go over and talk to the guys.

Don't go and listen to the episodes I'm in. They're boring and I sound like an idiot.

I remember you reviewed SSDD. Why was there a falling out between you and them? Sorry, just nosey.

Difference in review styles, difference in sense of humor, difference in ideas for where the site should be headed. Frumph was a bit too bossy. You know those people who want things in a certain particular way and they throw a hissy fit if it's not exactly like that. Yeah. And then he would claim he was laid back.

It came to a head when they just ****ing muted me in the middle of a podcast. I quit then and there. I may not do the best work in the world, I may not agree with you, but come on, just tell me if you've got a problem. I'll try and fix it. I liked reviewing webcomics with them, I like reviewing webcomics.

Nah, there's not enough of an audience. That, and I got swamped with emails from webcomic creators. I could, but I'm just not motivated enough to keep a schedule for it. You know how you like to do something until you have to do it? Yeah.

Just recently updated and now it doesn't work properly. I know that it's in the Beta phase, but when something goes from working just fine to having more gremlins than a WWII Bomber then something's wrong and someone screwed up.

I have a bug bite on my ankle the size of Montana.


Plus, two of my friends are interested in me...and they met each other the other day. We'll call the first friend D and the other K. I invited K to come to the bar to sing karaoke with D, myself and another friend (we found a new karaoke spot) and when he got there, D was making K jealous and K was making D jealous.

Good gods why can't anything be simple anymore?

Life likes throwing challanges in us, I sometimes swear the old gamer joke of a adventurer to his friend "Ever feel like someones controlling your life?" the view pulls back and it's a kid playing a video game?
