Official Cast of Audio BPD

Through two weeks of auditions and voting, we have come up with the voice actors that will play the characters in Broken Plot Device. Voting and Auditions took place in this thread. I'd like to thank everyone who participated over the last two weeks.

Any unfilled part will be up to the cast we have now to fill. If no one wants an unfilled part from the cast, we'll will then turn to everyone else for a new actor for just that part. If, for any reason, an actor no longer wishes to fulfill the part they auditioned for, we will turn to the runner-up from the auditions thread. So if you didn't get the part or even just the part you were looking for, don't worry! We might call upon you at a later time. :3

With that out of the way, and without further adieu, the official Cast and Team for Audio Broken Plot Device!

Lizardbeth will be played by... Lizardbeth, with 7 votes!

Maxine will be played by... Phanwolf, with 7 votes!

Sid will be played by... Powerphreak, with 7 votes! (Seven is popular, jeeze)

Inix will be played by... Zep Rowsdower, with 8 votes!

Zig will be played by... Lord Grey II, with 11 votes!

Sylver will be played by... SaneIntolerant, with 12 votes!

Sunny will be played by... floppybelly, with 8 votes!

Rex will be played by... UFAlien, with 9 votes!

Rodney will be played by... Cuboos, with 7 votes!

The creepy bunny thing will be played by... Cuboos, with 4 votes!

The elder dragon guy (seriously, these last two need names) will be played by... Grimm, with 6 votes!

Zel the demon will be played by... UFAlien, with 3 votes!

Grot the Demon will be played by... SaneIntolerant, with 3 votes!

The Fi'Tsu Goblin will be played by... Lizardbeth, with 3 votes!

In addition to your congratulations, we shall be deciding/discussing which comic we're going to voice first. Ideas? Suggestions? Have at it!

i still want to throw in a suggestion, (just a suggestion mind you), that Liz write a comic for this voice over thing, that could replace one of the normal updates on either Monday or Thursday.

if not then a comic with the most characters in it.

Well, I'll send out those PMs tomorrow, I'm not 100%. While I could, I'm being lazy. Plus, you lot can check on your own, yeah? Anyways...

While I would be thrilled if Liz made a comic specifically for us, I don't expect her to and I dislike the idea of making extra work for her. But hey, if she's up to it.

I think a good start would be this comic, from which I actually took my Sylver audition. It has most of the main characters. I think we might also need a narrator. Didn't think of that for the auditions thread.

Congrats to all who received a part!

Just let me know when the auditions for narrator will take place and what kind of narrator you want, and I'll throw my hat in the ring.

Yay! Awesomeness! I think we should find a comic that has a good majority of the characters in it, like the on Lord Grey suggested. I'll snoop around and see if I can find some examples, I'd feel a little weird making our debut audio comic a New Years one in August.

We weren't going to start from the beginning of the comic and work our way up?

Maybe we start with the Resolutions comic to introduce most of the main cast, then after that move into the first comic and work our way through. It's hard to really jump around with a comic like BPD.

If we did a comic series, most of the cast is in the Nurdcon storyline from book 1. The issue with that is we don't have anybody for Gaimen Washe or his gecko minions, and Inix isn't in it at all.

As for doing comics specifically for voice strips... umm, maybe down the line, but right now it'd be too much extra work. ;^_^ I will say that eventually I'll be taking a course in Flash, and if there's any projects to create animations I MAY write something up and call on you for background voices.... :whistles:

Oh yeah, I forgot about Gaimen... What did we want to do about him?

I could probably lend my voice to one of the gecko minions... Audacity has a pitch increaser, doesn't it?

Yes, you can boost pitch in Audacity.

To be honest, I think EVERYBODY forgot him... we could have another audition if we really wanted to do that XD

Just as a reminder, I don't get home on workdays until about 7:30 PM or 8:00 PM. If you send me messages in the middle of the day, or make posts towards me, I may not see them until late in the day.

I also will be checking this thread when I wake up before I go to work, so if I have any PMs or posts that need answering at that time, I will respond to the best of my abilities.

I dunno, I kinda favor jumping around with the comics, but not with the storyline comics. There are quite a few comics that fit anywhere.

I would have liked to start with a comic with all the characters in it, but I don't think such a comic exists .

Should we start recording lines for it yet, BTW?

Resolutions Comic is the test strip. Record your lines. Not lettin' Procrastination get his fat little foot in the door with this project.
