I got creeped by a some older woman on the internet today,"asking if I wanted to..." like a 20 year age gap there. Eww I feel that had to be in the top 10 creepiest things that have ever happened to me. I just shut off the computer for about 5 minutes, and wondered, WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! pale

House Centipedes the ones that where in my bed.

I was actually gonna' say that house centipedes are about the only thing that legitimately creeps me out.

Lawrence Fraser, a security guard in the funeral home/mausoleum I used to work at. This man was strange and a little creepy, he looked like Dracula from the Hammer House of Horror movies, just in a security guard uniform. He would go around his duties in UTTER silence, and would take occassional naps in some of the display coffins. And when you talked with him, he'd stare at your right shoulder, almost as if he's contemplating biting you.
That and Mister Fletcher, who was the mausoleum's resident spirit. Who had the tendency to lean over your shoulder to see what you were doing when working, you suddenly feel this minor chill flow over your left shoulder, and you couldn't help but turn and look and his face was 4 inches away!! Strangely, I got used to him doing that to me.

Some guy looking at me from outside a restaurant close up when I was eating, smiling and sorta staring, he stood there for a bit, then went off else where.

It was in the middle of the day, and he was probably harmless, that and he was waiting for the bus to come.

    3 things today.

My friend Derek came out of the blue today at lunch and came out of the closet.
Never even could guess, the last person on earth I would think to be gay.

All the clocks in my room where set to 3:40 when I got home " real time was 3:00 ". There was no power serged or anything.

Got a EMAIL AT 3:40. From my uncle's email. It read " My address is HeartLand Blvd 340, but you already knew that. "

Going to check up on him this minute.
    Kinda creepy the 340.

    English

I actually had a nightmare about Obama speaking in russian. Could not understand everything he was saying but the polls closed before anyone could vote, "during the 2010 November elections" and a bill of tyranny was based stating permint installment of all branches.
Which translates No more voting for your rulers their here to stay. But besides that I have no Idea why Obama was speaking Russian.
    It truely was a nightmare.

I could think of worse things than Obama and a democrat-majority Congress being permanently instated. Neutral

It's called Martial Law, which allows a political leader to remain in office until the crisis (such as a war) has been dealt with. Many people were expecting Bush to do this with the War in Iraq, The War in Afghanistan, The War on Drugs...

Actually, "martial law" is a system that allows the federal government to "invade" a region with the military and suppress the individual state rights in favor of the federal law. It essentially makes a rebelling state an occupied region, instead of a state.

The situation you're thinking of (which took place during WWII) has no name, since it is impossible under the current federal law. No President may serve longer than two consecutive terms (eight years). It is possible to have more than two terms (two terms, then one out of office, then two terms, then one out, etc.), but this has never happened.

It's still called Martial Law in Britain.

Martial law is the imposition of military rule by military authorities over designated region(s) on an emergency basis—usually only temporary—when the civilian government or civilian authorities fail to function effectively
