You playin the 360 version in 480 or 1080? Smile

If you're playin in 1080, it can look just as good on the 360.

Got fallout: New Vegas. It's great. It's very glitchy, but, I can get over it.

Very glitchy is an understatement, but it is a Bethesda game so I expected as much.. I've been playing for about a week a now, and I think it's a good, but for some reason I like Fallout 3 more. I think Fallout 3 had a better story and, let's face it, Wayne Newton can't hold a candle to Malcolm McDowell.

Watched my bro-in-law play it on a 1080 tv on 360 but he traded it in for a hockey game as soon as he beat it so I didn't get a chance to play it. He got it on Steam the other day and everything looks better on his comp coz it's frickin' sweet

Incorrect, good sir! Fallout 3 was most definitely handled by Bethesda, but New Vegas was developed by Obsidian entertainment! Bethesda only published it.

I remember reading a story I thought was funny, simply because it said that New Vegas' bugginess is due to it's girth. Dunno if it's true or not, but it would make sense that the more code you have in a program, the more places things can go wrong.

Pretty much, and given New Vegas' open world environment it's inevitable that you'll run into some sort of bug. I've also heard that the farther you get into the game the longer the load times are. Not exactly something I'd look forward to.

    The Psychology of Anonymity- http://www.gamepro.com/article/features/217085/the-psychology-of-anonymity/

The first half of the article is pretty much known throughout the gaming community (hell the internet for that matter), people can be jerks just because they can. The second half of this article is a bit more interesting in that people take that anonymity and try to do some good.

I think the example of Halo vs Left 4 Dead is a good point because of the way the games play. Where as Halo is a primarily competitive game it draws in people who want to and can vent aggravation, not just on the game but on the people they play against. As for Left 4 Dead the ultimate goal is to survive and the best way to do that is to work together, even in Versus mode the people who play the Infected have to work together to stop the survivors.

I understand people's desire to win, but never the over the top humiliation. Stats prove a player's talent, the banter that insults others really doesn't. It is interesting to see people use that anonymity for other purposes though, I wonder how much farther someone can take that.

Whelp picked up fable 3 a couple of days ago and I've been playing that. It's pretty different from the other games in the series, but I've enjoyed it.

Me. I'm really quite sick of the Zombie apocalypse senario, it was new and interestin' in the 70's, and became stale and cliched by the 90's. Come on People, come up with somethin' more interestin' than shamblin' corpses!!!

I also hate sparkly vampires, not fond of vampires in the first place but they have NO right to turn into disco balls in the sunlight when any true vampire should implode otr at least catch fire and run around screamin'!!
Nosferatu, Dracula, Morbius in Marvel, even Lestat were REAL vampires!!!!

Most of the undead have no life in them for me.

I dunno. You gotta give Stephanie Myers credit, because it WAS something new, and if nothing else, gave me a hearty laugh when I saw it in the movie. Then I stopped when I realized she was being serious, and I died a little on the inside.

But you know you have no right to complain, because IT CAME TO HER IN A DREAM! >: (

Violent Game Law Goes to Supreme Court- http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/113/1131462p1.html

Well oral arguments for and against it will be heard tomorrow. There won't be an official ruling on it until June 2011. I'm not too overly concerned about this because the same thing happened with movies, music, and books and at the end nothing of real significance happened to them.

I've had a lot of ideas come to me in a dream (or a sugar induced psychotic episode or sleep deprivation brainstorm), but I don't share them, like the infamous Vampiric Space Lemmings me and Mike came up with.

And yah, sparkly vampires were original... just have a problem with REMOVIN' ONE OF THE PRINCIPLE WEAKNESSES of one of the Predatory Monsters of Humanity.

I've been hitting up the ME and ME2 again, trying to recapture the feel and mood of the series for my fan-fiction.

After the 5th time falling INTO a rock, I decided to shelve New Vegas until the first major patch hits the servers.

In relatively recent news, a man has managed to break his television playing his kinect.
He was playing volleyball, made a violent overhead motion to spike a ball, caught the pull-string on the fan above him and shot it into the TV.
I knew this was going to happen. I knew some moron somewhere would find a way to smash his TV despite having no controller to fling at all. I just didn't know how or when.

You missed the part where it was only as little as 24 hours after it being released. People should really pay attention to the warning labels, messages in game and use some common sense with these things.

Sadly, common sense is a surprisingly scarce resource. At least, it is with most people I have to put up with every day. Have you ever heard of the idiocracy theory?
